וַיָּבֹ֤א יְהוָה֙ וַיִּתְיַצַּ֔ב וַיִּקְרָ֥א כְפַֽעַם־בְּפַ֖עַם שְׁמוּאֵ֣ל ׀ שְׁמוּאֵ֑ל וַיֹּ֤אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל֙ דַּבֵּ֔ר כִּ֥י שֹׁמֵ֖עַ עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃ (פ)

Lalu Yang Mahakekal datang dan berdiri di sana, lalu memanggil seperti yang sudah-sudah: “Samuel, Samuel!” Samuel menjawab: “Berbicaralah, sebab hamba-Mu mendengarkan.”
